Some folks say our astronauts had company on the moon. Some former military personnel say they have seen pictures of buildings on the back side of the moon. I remember Neil Armstrong saying "one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind" when he took the first step on the moon. This song explores how I would feel if he wasn't telling the whole story. |

Back Side of the Moon You had a plan to be the first ones on the moon. You could imagine how cool that would be, But couldn’t let the people know what you saw. Took some pictures, sent em’ home of the back side of the moon. Who owns those buildings on the back side of the moon? They were flying all around you on your way to the moon. They were there to greet you when you landed. Checking you out getting in the way on the front side of the moon. Some of you know this to be true. (Chorus) One small step for man, and a giant leap for secrets. What’s so important about the secrets of the moon that the people can’t know? We’ve got a right to know. We’re not waiting any longer, the time is here. We’re strong enough to make some changes now. Show us the back side of the moon and heal a dark side of our world. Open our minds to all that’s gone on. You used our money and we got back secrets. Whose got the courage to tell us what you saw? You know you’re all getting older now, Just a few more years to tell. Time to tell the truth now, nothing more to lose (chorus). |
