This is about the secrecy in our government, which in my opinion has gotten out of control. We the people have a need to know more. The UFO/ET issue is just one example, but a major one for sure for the past 50 years. The sheer numbers of intelligence employees and special access projects have kept or elected representatives from being able to assure that the Constitution is being upheld. Checks and balances are doing no good.

If the NSA and the NSC met the ONI one fine day,
Maybe they’d tell the DIA to RSVP the CIA.
They could tell everyone PDQ to give all the rest the big OK.

And Project Blue Book didn’t ring true, a few more lies, breaking all the rules.
National Security Planning Group, National Reconnaissance Organization,
MK Ultra Mind Control, and the wonderful Majestic Twelve (Chorus).
The President’s supposed to be in charge, Commander in Chief so our Founders said.
But for fifty odd years it seems that most, have been kept in the house, out of the loop.
Couldn’t tell them much about the disk, the Chiefs might be a security risk.
And even some of them have been pushed around, lost control it went underground.
Project Red Light and Twinkle too, Pentagon an iceberg the tip showing through,
NASA and private aerospace too, most of them don’t know, but some people do (chorus).
Special Access Programs a hundred fifty strong, Congress had a voice but lost their show.
Sitting in the dark, sending down the cash, puppets dancing ‘round up on the Hill.
Checks and balances doing no good, power separated from all but a few.
